  15. Identifying your Zoom:

  17. Here's two methods for identifying your Zoom modem.  Examples given are
  18. for the V34 internal with latest ROM...  Your codes may vary
  19.  
  20. Init Code        Example readout with ver1.309 ROM setup for fax class2

  30. The Zoom V34 internal's ATIn series are (examples only given):

  32. atI0            28800   Returns max bps rated (was 3 digit product code)
  33. atI1            255     Returns ROM checksum
  34. atI2            OK      Computes checksum, compares with value in ROM, and
  35.                         returns OK or ERROR
  36. atI3            as above  Returns ROM firmware revision code
  37. atI4            N D A   Returns faxmodem identifier strings
  38. atI5            022     Returns country code (022 for US, 016 for UK, etc)
  39. atI6            RC288DPi Rev 04BC  Returns datapump model and revision code

  43. A Windows Terminal configuration file with these commands together
  44. with other useful strings is available here as ZOOMCOM1.TRM or 
  45. ZOOMCOM3.TRM  Place in your Windows directory and double click on it in 
  46. File Manager.  RPI and RPI inits are also included, plus MNP and Cellular 
  47. setups (Win3.1's Terminal is max 19k2 DTE speed so if you use it to call
  48. another system, that's all you'll get :)
